Happy 10th Anniversary!

It all started 10 years ago when a boy and a girl got married...

This picture is from our rehearsal dinner and taken 10 years ago. Didn't we look like babies?!

This picture was taken on our 10th Anniversary. We don't look too much older than our wedding day! :) Well, I tell myself that 10 years and 2 kids hasn't ruined us yet!

We celebrated by having dinner with Zach's parents at Morton's Steakhouse. It was a neat place to celebrate since that was where we went on our first "date" with his parents 13 years before. My how time flies!

Family Photo Shoot

I can't say enough how much I LOVE these pictures of my kids. Tami did such a phenomenal job of capturing their beautiful faces and then creating a vintage photo for me. I'm in love with these pictures.
I think I'm always going to love this photo because Zach dislikes it so much. He didn't want to take the picture (but wouldn't speak up for himself) and kept telling me it wasn't going to turn out. I love it. I think it looks pretty cute!

It kind of looks like we like each other, eh? Tami must have a magic camera! An updated Guthmiller family photo. The last one had Tyler as a toddler and Quillan as a baby. We had to get the two new little girls in there!

End of Season Soccer Party

We had our end of season soccer party on Monday, November 16th at Mountain Mike's pizza. Seeing the Panthers together off the soccer field was a trip. They were wild and crazy and so, so excited to be there. The kids were just running and screaming all through the restaurant. It was fun...and LOUD! Here is a group shot of the kids before the awards ceremony.

Ava, Ashley, Zaccary, Jillian, Hayden, and Matea

Here are the kids with their bright shiny trophies. I don't think Tyler has put his down yet!

Tyler is so proud of his trophy. He has it on the nightstand next to his bed. So cute!

Now we begin our countdown until next season...

Go Panthers!

This was Tyler's first year to play Prospector soccer. I'm not sure if he was more excited or if I was! In the U-6 age group they let kids be with their friends if it works out, so luckily Tyler had a lot of friends on his team this year. Coach Jordan asked me to help coach with her, so I agreed and it has been one of the coolest experiences ever. Although, I can't say that I'm a fan of this team picture so much... The Front and Back of His Soccer "Card"

This has been a really fun experience for Tyler and I. Even Zach has helped out coaching 3 or 4 times and the kids just love him. Tyler scored over 10 goals this season! He's proud of himself and Mommy is too!

Trick-or-Treat

Happy Halloween!
Here is my sweet little Tinker Fairy. She wanted to wear the Tinkerbell shoes...that were 2 sizes too big...so we clipped them in the back. The costume turned out really cute. And the not-so-sweet dinosaur. He was into being scary this year! But, really, how can that face be scary?!The whole neighborhood gang (minus Lucy) getting ready to go collect some candy!
Lucy either wanted to be held or ride in the stroller. She was a pretty tired girl! And she wanted to sit and sample the goods.Mom & I

It was a great night! Tyler was a MANIAC! He went to EVERY house in the neighborhood and had to dump his bucket twice to make more room. He was a man on a mission. He even went into the kiddie side of the neighborhood haunted house. He in his prime for trick or treating. I'm glad to say that Lucy is not yet. When that happens I'd better be ready with my running shoes...

Annual Party In The Park

This year we held our annual Halloween party again. It seemed perfect that Halloween was on a Saturday this year. The kids love to see each other in costume and they don't really get to do that if they aren't trick or treating together. Besides, who doesn't love a get together with good food! We held the party at Promontory Park and the kids had a blast. We ate some food, played at the playground, played some games, made some crafts, and had a costume "contest". It was a really nice day.

She's just the cutest fairy EVER

This was one of the crafts we made...and Tyler is the one under that mask
We also did some fun picture frames. Lucy is showing hers off...the frame that is.

The party was a lot of fun and we hope to do it again next year!

Disney Princesses On Ice

This past Friday night Brooke and I took our little princesses to Disney on Ice. The girls got all dressed up as their favorite princesses and we took them to dinner and to the show. It was so cute to see their eyes light up as the princesses skated by...and even waved! But, there were parts of the show that freaked the girls out. The witches were NOT their favorite and they didn't like when the princesses "died". They did the show in vignettes and it would play a summary of the movie up to the point where the witch would poison or harm the princess and they would be asleep waiting for a prince and then the show would move on to the next princess. At the end they brought out all the princesses with their princes and showed that they were okay and in love. You know, just how life is. Lucy was so worried about each princess and she would ask where she was. My absolute favorite part of the show was when Maleficent came out in all her glory and Lucy said, "Mom, I want to go home and we will never talk about this again."

Here are Lucy, Aria and Matea...or Belle, Ariel, and Snow White

For some reason Lucy was VERY worried about the Beast being there, so seeing him up close and personal was a good thing for her. She saw that he was okay and turned into a prince. Kind of like her Daddy. Kidding...

Here are the girls enjoying the show

I was trying to get a good picture of Lucy and I and this was the best that I could do

This is making me excited for Disneyland! All of the couples at the end of the show...in their wedding day whites

Lucy had so much fun waving at all the characters. She would get so excited and say, "MOM! They waved at me." And then on the other hand she would get mad if they didn't wave. She IS a princess for sure...

This was such a fun night! Of course I got suckered into spending too much money, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Seeing the magic in the little girls' eyes was worth it. There is another show coming in February and you know we'll be there again. Maybe part of it is just because Mom is a kid at heart too...

Oy Vey...

We're gonna be in trouble. This girl has got ATTITUDE...

Harvest Festival

On October 23rd Busy Bees Preschool had their annual Harvest Festival. The kids showed us around the classroom, sang us a song, and then took us outside to do a ton of activities. It was a fun afternoon for Tyler and his friends. Although, from the looks of the photo below it doesn't look like singing is their favorite thing...

Tyler had this cute mask that he used during his song
Playing the bean bag toss game

Decorating His Pumpkin with Glue and Purple Glitter

Hammering Tees Into a Pumpkin
And Yes, Tyler is Holding His Cookie in His Mouth so He Can Use Two Hands

Tyler and his Best Bud Payton Took a Break For Some Snacks
It Was Cute...They Were Eating in the Playhouse

The kids had a good time and so did the parents. Although at the next little get together I will need to monitor the amount of cookies that Tyler eats. Somehow the little booger ate 3 HUGE sugar cookies in the hour and a half that we were there. Luckily I went back to work and he went to Grandpa's house...

On October 30th they had the kids dress up for school. Lucy wanted in on the action, so we pulled out this cool pig costume from our neighbor Elena. Lucy got to feel like part of the class when they were posing for pictures.
