Happy Easter!

Busy Bees Preschool had a photographer come in for their annual spring pictures and this year the kids were able to pose with a lamb.  It would have been great if the lamb had looked a little cleaner, but the kids were excited to pet and pose with him.  They are in their Easter best and trying to smile at the same time for the camera.  Happy Easter!

Spring Has Sprung

On Saturday, April 16th our neighborhood held their annual Easter egg hunt.  It worked out perfectly for us since Tyler's t-ball game ended at 10:15 and the hunt started at 10:30.  This is a fun event in our neighborhood and the kids look forward to hunting for the eggs in their neighborhood park.
And they're off!  Luckily Tyler and Lucy were in the same age group area, so we didn't have to chase two kids in two different area of the park.
Tyler found quite a few eggs!
Lucy did pretty well for herself too!

The kids have fun at this egg hunt every year.  We're so glad to live in our neighborhood and have neighbors that are willing to plan these events.  Yay!
The Easter Bunny made an appearance!

Gooooooooooo Pirates!

And it's baseball season again.  This year we were going to try and just be parents on the team.  If you check out the team picture you will see how successful we were at that...
The season has been good so far and Tyler is lucky to play with two boys in his class...Lucas and Bobby.  It's a great group of boys and coaching (or helping to coach) is a lot of fun!

Kindergarten Sing-A-Long

Kindergarten is so much fun!  For the parents anyways.  Tyler's class had a sing-a-long on March 24th and it had to be one of the cutest things we've ever seen.  Mrs. Brawley's and Mrs. Lisson's classes sang six songs and did hand motions to those songs.  They were wearing Blue Oak School t-shirts that they had made and they were just more adorable than ever.  After the songs were over they played a slideshow of pictures throughout the year and played songs that made you tear up.  So, while the children are looking forward to 1st grade (probably because they don't yet realize that the school day gets longer), the moms are grasping at straws to hold onto this moment for just a little longer.  Kindergarten has been a really neat experience.

My Heart and Soul

Zach snapped these pictures of the kids and I after Tyler's last basketball game.  I just adore my babies.
